Naturally, with the use of accelerated polishing machine, it is also tried to determine how robust the aggregates are against friction. It is also tested whether the aggregate to be preferred in road construction has a structure that can be immediately affected by friction or whether it is resistant.

How to Use the Accelerated Polishing Machine?

While the device has road wheels, the wheels rotate at 315-325 revolutions. As the wheel rotates at a cyclical speed, the test is easily performed on the aggregate. In case of an excess of heat that may be released during rotation, cooling operations are carried out with a fan. 370 W of energy is consumed for both turning the wheel and performing the cooling process. In this way, on the one hand, the wheel is rotated smoothly and quickly, while on the other hand, cooling is activated.
