Cast iron, hard plastic or steel cube moulds are manufactured in accordance to dimensions and tolerances stated in the related standards. Four part and clamp attached base plate cast iron and steel moulds are designed to be durable, resistant and easy to clean.
It is possible to have an idea about the durability of the structure to be built with the cube sample molds in the concrete testing devices. In this process, many test products are used, and cube sample molds have an important place among these products.
These products, which are designed in the form of cubes, are produced from different materials and are produced for the function of putting the sample taken into the test. These products, which are quite durable, are also considered as functional products.
These products, which are produced in accordance with AASHTO T126, AASHTO T23, ASTM C 192, ASTM C 39 and EN 12390-1 Standards, are produced using cast, steel or hard plastic and are known as cube-shaped concrete molds.
At the same time, cube sample molds consisting of different models are specially produced in nominal sizes and tolerances, durable, easy to clean and waterproof.
Cube Sample Molds Features
The features of the cube sample molds vary according to the models, and they differ from each other in terms of weight, materials used during production and dimensions. If we need to examine each model and its features for these products, which are produced in 4 different models, we can start with the AR-004 model.
AR-004 model is produced using steel material and has 150x150x150 mm dimensions in terms of dimensions. This model, which has a weight of 16.2 kg, is in the second place in terms of weight among other models.
Another model made of steel material is the AR-006 model. This model is produced using steel material just like AR-004. This model, which is slightly larger than the other model in terms of dimensions, has 200x200x200 mm dimensions and a weight of 20 kg since it is the heaviest model in terms of weight.
Finally, the model produced using steel material is the AR-007 model. This model ranks 3rd in terms of weight and also has the smallest dimensions in terms of size. This model, which has dimensions of 100x100x100 mm, has a weight of 7 kg.
Ten of our models were produced using different materials than the other three models. This model, which is made of plastic material, is named AR-005. It has the same dimensions as AR-004 in terms of size and is in the last place in terms of weight. This model, which has 150x150x150 mm dimensions, is very light due to its weight of 2.75 kg.
Cube Sample Function
The cube sample function is basically used to reveal the different properties of samples taken from concrete or similar structures, and they are produced from very durable materials. These products, which are not suitable for cylindrical instruments, are suitable for cube-shaped Samples as they have a square or exactly cube-like appearance.
These products, which reveal different options in terms of material, color and technical features in the samples, can also be placed in any type of product since they are also highly resistant to corrosion.
