The pH meter measures hydrogen ion activity in water-based solutions. Being a scientific instrument, these instruments accurately indicate acidity and basicity.
The pH value is seen in many places today. It exists in every corner of life, from consumed water to soap, from cosmetic products to food, from livestock to waste materials. In this regard, the products are widely used today. However, especially
Food,
waste material,
Soil quality in agriculture,
Farming,
biotechnology,
Galvanization,
This,
It is used by companies working on such issues. Because products in every sector must have a certain PH value. Thanks to the pH meter, these can be measured and more accurate productions can be made. Without being limited to this, it is also used in experiments in laboratories.
In addition, these products stand out in osmosis facilities and swimming pools. Our company offers you quality products manufactured from first class materials at reasonable prices. These standard products are valid everywhere, regardless of the sector.
What is a PH Meter?
The pH meter indicates the ratio of acid and base in solutions or a different substance. Acidity and alkalinity are measured as values between 0 and 14. These devices, which provide a potentiometric measurement, show the PH value between the voltages provided by the sensing electrode and the reference electrode.
PH Meter Applications
The pH meter measures the voltage between two electrodes. Thus, it presents the results by converting it to the corresponding PH value. In this respect, it has a very basic working principle. In this context, our company offers you three different options;
AR-090 Pocket Type PH Meters
AR-091 Handheld PH Meters
AR-092 Table Type PH Meters
If you act according to your intended use, you can easily decide what is most suitable for you. Whichever you choose, you can measure efficiently and precisely.
How to Calibrate PH Meter?
PH meter calibration is used for certain conditions, accuracy of reference measurement standard and measurements.
Electrodes can change over time in pH meters. Therefore, it is a step that needs to be implemented in order to make it suitable for the necessary conditions. Thus, more accurate measurements can be performed.
For this, first the electrode should be examined and it should be ensured that it is in good condition. Then the calibration should be done carefully and meticulously.
First of all, the PH meter should be turned on and wait for it to warm up for measurement. After making sure of this, the device is cleaned by washing with pure water. The electrode to be calibrated should be washed with distilled water and shaken, thus ensuring that it is clean.
The electrode must be removed from the storage solution. However, because it is sensitive, the surrounding area should not be rubbed. If you find that it is dirty, recommended cleaning solutions should be preferred instead.
While calibrating the pH meter, the buffers are prepared at the end. The electrodes are used by placing them inside the buffer. It is emptied into a separate beaker and kept there for more than two hours.
